One of my first childhood memories was going to a Mets game with my Father. We sat all the way up top, he told me that’s where the real fans sit. I remember the excitement I felt as I caught a foul ball, and the energy of the crowd, eating Nathan’s hot dogs, ah to be young again. I wanted to share those memories with my children, and I was so excited to visit Citi Field with them. The best part is they now have a Mets Kids Club with perks such as complimentary tickets and free swag. This was not their first game but it was definitely their favorite, and of course the Mets winning helped add to their enthusiasm. It was my first time at Citi Field, and I must say this stadium is great, the seats are comfy and the staff is friendly. Every Sunday at Citi Field is a McDonald’s Family Sunday. Enjoy Pregame activities including inflatables, face painters and balloon artists on Mets Plaza before the game. The first 15,000 fans through the turnstiles will receive a great promotional item and all kids 12 & under can run the bases postgame in the Mr. Met Dash courtesy of Northwell Health. If you’re looking for a fun affordable day with your kids I highly recommend signing them up for the kids club, it’s definitely worth it. Ah! I love New York.
